Explore the road that leads you to the riverbed of where the renowned Wairarapa Harvest Wine Festival takes place in Dakins Road (partly gravel) and then onto Johner Estate Cellar Door. The ride leaves from Johner to Urlar Vineyard Cellar Door where you will then depart Gladstone back to Masterton.
Experience the thrill and ease of a high end E-Bike whist checking out Urlar and Johner Wineries! Included in this tour is the hire of an E-Bike, a beautiful seasonal Platter at Urlar and a wine tasting at Johner.

Booking & Payment: Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spot. Cancellations made 48 hours before the tour will receive a full refund; cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable.
Safety Requirements: All participants must wear helmets and follow the guide's instructions at all times. Riders must be in good physical condition.
Weather Policy: Tours operate rain or shine. In case of severe weather, we may reschedule or offer a refund.
Liability: Participants must sign a waiver before the tour. The company is not liable for personal injuries or lost belongings.

Urlar Vineyard
Their all-new cellar door is a state-of-the-art winery.
The cellar door opens to a small lake, and connects with a large, sunny, cantilevered deck with views across the vineyard. The stunning setting creates for a fantastic visitor experience that fittingly matches the quality of the organic wine Urlar is renowned for.
URLAR is the largest single organic vineyard (32 hectares)in the region producing award- winning wine range along with being Bio Gro certified for over 15 years

Johner Estate is hands-on, family owned, and exporter of wines around the globe. The picturesque vineyard follows the course of the ancient Ruamahanga River, and is set in a beautiful and idyllic setting. Free draining alluvial soils and a cool but dry climate, create the setting for the story that is our wine.

Tour Plan
Departure: Arrive at our Tour & Hire warehouse in Solway, Masterton. You will be fitted on your bike with a safe helmet and bags if required. A map of the route will be given to you before you set off on your way
You will ride on a flat/ slightly downhill country road enjoying the beautiful Wairarapa countryside following the riverside on Dakins Road
After a leisurely 15km flat ride you will arrive at Johner Winery where you will be greeted by their wonderful team ready for your first Wine Tasting!
Once you have finished up at Johner a short 4km ride down the riverside road will take you to your next stop!
Once you arrive at Urlar a booked table with an amazing seasonal platter will be awaiting you! Enjoy your time looking over the barrel room or on the deck looking over the pond whilst you eat
From Urlar you have a slightly more climbing 12km ride back to our warehouse, we recommend puttung your bike into the top mode if you have enough battery and enjoy the ride home! If you've bought too many boxes of wine we do also offer a pick up service. Simply call our team
